Green Life and Culture Shock Collide at Hoffman’s Deco Deli

Flint, Mich.– Communities First, Inc. has been selected by Hoffman’s Deco Deli as its nonprofit partner of the month. The “Green Life” sandwich was design by Communities First, Inc. in honor of its Green Life Community Education Program. Hoffman’s will donate a portion of the profits from each sandwich to Communities First, Inc.

To celebrate this delicious sandwich, Communities First, Inc. is hosting a Culture Shock performance at Hoffman’s on Friday, July 24 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm. The performance will feature a trio playing classical music in the courtyard.

The ingredients for this tasty, yet healthy sandwich are: Turkey, Provolone Cheese, Lettuce, Cucumber, Green Pepper, Tomato, Avocado Spread, Basil Pesto on herb focaccia bread or a spinach wrap.

So far, the sandwich has received great reviews and is selling very well. Sergeant Tanya Meeks of the Flint Police Department tried the Green Life sandwich and said “It was the best sandwich I have had there. Delicious”

“Wow!! What a sandwich!! July’s sandwich of the month “the Green Life” by Communities First, Inc. is on pace to be our #1 selling sandwich of the month”, said Heath Hoffman, owner of Hoffman’s.

The public is invited to enjoy delightful music and try the tasty Green Life sandwich at this fun event.
