Virtual public meeting, Buick City

Public Meeting Regarding Environmental Activities at the Former GM Buick City Property in Flint

RACER Trust will host a virtual public meeting from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 22, to discuss environmental activities at the former GM Buick City property in Flint. This will include discussion of the most recent assessment activities for PFAS and lead in soil and groundwater on the Buick City property.

Grant Trigger, Michigan Cleanup Manager for RACER Trust, will describe information gathered to date as well as next steps. Representatives of the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy and the U.S. EPA, which oversee RACER’s environmental activities at Buick City, will be available to answer questions from the public, as will a representative of the Genesee County Health Department.

The meeting will be held on Zoom.
