News Release: Accessing CFGF grants

Community Foundation of Greater Flint to Host Grant Information Session for Area Nonprofit Organizations

Attention all community-based organizations doing good work in Genesee County. The Community Foundation of Greater Flint (CFGF) has moved from a rolling application process to three general grant cycles beginning December 2018. The new grant process is designed for organizations recognized as 501(c)3 public charities that serve Genesee County residents. Anyone interested in learning about how to access Community Foundation grants is welcome to attend.

Two information sessions will be held on Monday, Nov. 5 at the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan’s Hunger Solution Center, 1939 Howard Avenue, Flint. Meet CFGF program officers and learn more about how to apply for a Community Foundation grant. The session will include review of the application process, grant priorities, grant reporting, and communicating your grant. Refreshments will be served.

Register online at cfgf.org, or call Stephanie Whitledge, Grants Administrator, for more information at 810-767-3505.
