Michigan State Police Citizens Academy

Flint, MI. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Flint Post is pleased to announce a Citizens’ Academy, which will start Tuesday, October 18, 2016 and end Tuesday, December 6, 2016. The eight week academy will give citizens the opportunity to become familiar with the mission and operation of the MSP, understand the procedures troopers follow, increase their awareness of law enforcement’s role in the community, and get to know personnel at the MSP Flint Post.

The eight week academy will meet at the MSP Flint Post at 4481 Corunna Rd, Flint, MI 48532 every Tuesday at 6 P.M. A graduation ceremony will be held on December 6, 2016. Individuals who are interested in attending the Citizens’ Academy should contact Trooper Amy Belanger or Trooper Steve Kramer of the Flint Post at (810) 732-1111 or via email at belangera@michigan.gov to receive an application. The deadline for applications will be October 11th and there are limited spots available.
