I’m delighted to let you know that Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra will perform a free community concert at The Whiting Auditorium on September 21 at 7:30 p.m. I’m writing to invite you to attend and to ask for your help.
The CS Mott Foundation wants as many Flint residents as possible to be able to enjoy the concert, and they’re allocating a limited number of priority tickets for local nonprofit organizations, like us, before making seats available to the wider public. Listed below is a special code for CFGF and organizations connected to us that will enable recipients to call or visit The Whiting Ticket Center to reserve seats. Please reserve your tickets today!!
Our organization’s code? CFGF17
Share it with members of the community we serve who would want to attend.
Demand will be high to see these world-renowned musicians perform, I urge you to act quickly.
The Whiting will provide a maximum of four tickets to each person who calls or visits and references our code. Once the pool of priority tickets for nonprofit organizations is gone, people requesting tickets will be added to the list for public access on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you have any questions, please call The Whiting Ticket Center during business hours (M-F from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sat. from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.) at 810-237-7333.
The concert is part of a project between the Mott Foundation and Jazz at Lincoln Center to strengthen after school programming for students in Flint and across the country.
