Dear Community Leader,
On behalf of the Pretty Brown Girl Foundation, we’re excited to extend an invitation to the girls in your neighborhood/community to attend our Doll Drive on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 2pm-5pm. The Pretty Brown Girl Movement and Foundation (www.prettybrowngirl.org) represents girls everywhere that are enlightened, empowered, and encouraged to live life to their fullest potential. Our mission is to address adverse social issues affecting girls of color through self-acceptance and leadership development programs in an atmosphere of celebration, empowering them to fulfill their dreams and promote positive change in their communities.
With all that has happened this year, our goal is to bring a little more hope and lots of smiles to the faces of the girls. Join us as we seek to uplift the Pretty Brown Girls in Flint, Michigan this Holiday season during our Pretty Brown Girl Doll Drive.
Attached is the flyer for the event and here is the registration application for the girls that you believe would be a good candidate to attend the Doll Drive and receive a doll. Submissions are only for Flint, Michigan residents ages 4 to 11-years-old, that are in need of a toy for Christmas. Girls must be present at the Doll Drive in order to receive a doll. Representatives nor family members are allowed to accept the dolls on behalf of the girls.
We have 200 dolls available for giving. The submissions will be reviewed in the order in which they were received. Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any questions. If you would like to volunteer please complete our volunteer form. Thank you and have a blessed day!
