Brower Youth Awards, Flint young person encouraged to apply

Hi Everyone,

There is an opportunity for a Flint youth to be selected for the Brower Youth Awards, which recognize environmental leadership in 13-22 year olds (as of July 1, 2018) — see http://www.broweryouthawards.org/apply/.

As you can see below, they’re interested in Michiganders who are working on water issues to be nominated for the award. This interest appears to be coming from someone who is administering the awards.

Please spread the word to youth that you know who would be a good fit.

Thanks!
Mona

Hello!

This year, I am trying to actively recruit some folks who are working on the very urgent issues, the issues of “now”. The Flint water crisis is one of those issues.

Because you are all living in Michigan, I am asking that you help spread the word and find, guide, nominate, and direct young people to apply to the BYA who are working in Michigan on water issues. Please let them know about the 3,000 cash prize, the short documentary film, etc.

Here is the application link for this year!!!
