Good Afternoon Neighbors,
I hope all is well with you! I wanted to just reach out briefly to let you know that absentee ballot applications are now live! Thanks to reforms passed by voters in 2018, you can now request an absentee ballot for any reason or no reason! All registered voters are eligible to vote absentee.
While applications are being accepted now, the ballots themselves won’t be sent until about 6 weeks before the November 8th election.
Request an Absentee Ballot – https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us/AVApplication. You may also request a ballot by mailing the attached form to your local clerk, or by bringing it to their offices.
Download the Absentee Ballot Application Here
You can also find your polling location and where there are dropboxes to return your ballot to if you’d rather not return it by mail by going to https://michigan.gov/vote.
Thank you for being an engaged citizen!
