Just a friendly reminder to go to the polls and vote on Tuesday, May 5th. There is Proposal 1, concerning funding for road repairs and possible additional funding for education. In the City of Flint, we will be selecting members of the Flint Charter Revision Commission. There are 13 candidates for 9 positions. I would encourage you to visit the League of Women Voters of the Flint Area website, lwvflintarea.org, where you can view videotaped interviews of most of the candidates – one was not able to make it to the taping. Additional information concerning voting, elections, etc., can be found on the League website, Vote411.org. A successful outcome depends on all registered voters turning out to vote. Please do your part.
