There’s still time to RSVP for the next community conversation!
If you’re a teacher at a Flint-based school, you’re invited to one of our upcoming Focus on Flint community conversations. There are two ways to take part:
- Sign up for a one-hour session on Wednesday, Sept. 29, between 4 and 7 p.m. at the Flint Farmers’ Market.
- Or take part in a virtual conversation on Tuesday, Oct. 5, from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
We ask that you please sign up for the time slot that works best for you at www.focusonflint.org/RSVP. This is an open invitation to any teacher in any Flint-based school. If you’re not a teacher but know a Flint teacher, please pass this message along to them.
Feedback from the Flint community helps guide our local grantmaking. Through a variety of opportunities over the past few months, we’ve been able to hear thoughts on education from more than 50 parents, guardians and students who live in the city.
Now we’d like to engage the voices of the educators to hear your perspectives on education and schools. We hope to see you on Sept. 29 or Oct. 5!
All voices are important to us as we continue to Focus on Flint. There will be more opportunities in the near future for parents, guardians and other community members to continue to share their feedback about education in Flint. We’ll send out information as plans come together.
Please email focusonflint@mott.org or call 810-237-4888 if you have any questions.
Thank you for your interest and input!
