Water Street Foot Bridge Reopens in Time for Summer Festivals
Flint, Michigan – August 11, 2015 – The City of Flint is today announcing that the Water Street Foot Bridge crossing the Flint River downtown will be reopening today, August 11, 2015. The reopening comes just in time for the August summer festivals, including the beginning of Back to the Bricks today and the Crim Festival of Races the weekend of August 22, 2015. The bridge had been closed in order to repair and in parts replace its walking surface since April of this year.
