I am working on a survey with the Crim to get more insight from Flint residents about what they would like to see our organization help with in terms of youth and neighborhood improvement. This information will help us gain a better understanding of where we should keep or shift our resources and what we need to improve upon.

For some background information – in my role at the Crim, I facilitate Safe & Active Genesee for everyone – www.crim.org/sage – which focuses on policy, systems and environment change to increase safety, thereby allowing residents to feel comfortable doing things like going for a run in their neighborhood, waiting at the bus stop, going to the park, etc. Part of this survey speaks to that as well.
