Movies Under the Stars for Tonight Moves Inside to Flint Youth Theater

Flint, Mich.– Previously scheduled for the back lawn of Flint City Hall, Communities First, Inc.’s Movies Under the Stars event will be held at Flint Youth Theater (1025 E. Kearsley Flint, MI 48503) due to the threat of inclement weather. Seating is limited to the first 325 guests!

Tonight’s feature film for Movie Under the Stars is Rio 2, a delightful tale about two love birds and their three macaw bird children. They move from their comfortable lives in the city to the jungles of the Amazon in search of other blue macaws. The wild story teaches us that we shouldn’t be afraid to be ourselves and the importance of family.
In the spirit of the Olympics which are being held in Rio this year, the pre-party will include friendly competitions with winners being awarded medals. An unofficial Olympic torch will make an appearance and there will be activities for adults and children. Snacks will be provided.

There will also be drawings for NCG Trillium Theater, Hoffman’s Deco Deli, Freakin’ Unbelievable Burger, Mongolian BBQ, Crust and The Laundry gift cards. For a donation of any amount, attendees will receive a copy of “I Wore 21: The Legend of Desmond Howard”!

The pre-party begins at 7:30pm and the movie will begin around 8:30pm. Future events in the series include:

July 22 – Inside Out, Flint City Hall – Back Lawn
August 12 – Zootopia, Applewood Estate
August 20 (Saturday) – Cars, Flint City Hall – Back Lawn
