Due to Flint River Remediation, the Crim Course is a little different this year. Here is a map and some tips on what to do on race day.
The Crim is Going by Your Front Door!
Saturday, August 26, 6:30am – 12:00pm
The 2017 HAP Crim Festival of Races will take place on Saturday,
August 26th. Streets around the race course will close at 6:30am. The
course map on the back will help you prepare for road closures that
day.
Enjoy Flint’s biggest celebration with us!
If you’re not racing or volunteering, here are some ideas on how to enjoy the Crim:
- Grab some friends and throw a Crim party – breakfast or brunch is always a hit!
- Bring out your lawn chairs to cheer on tens of thousands of runners and walkers
- Have a radio? Turn it up to help us create a continuous official Crim soundtrack! Tune into CK 105.5 FM and play it loud for racers to enjoy songs that will keep everyone moving and cheering
- Want a live band in your yard that morning? Contact us to find out how! Email memery@crim.org or call the Crim office at 235-3396
- Have friends or family racing? Track them and send cheers with the new Crim race app, sponsored by Walmart! Download RaceJoy for free in your phone’s app store and search for HAP Crim Festival of Races
- If you can, try to clear your yard and street of any garbage or debris
- Join us downtown and be a part of the biggest Festival of the year
