Human Trafficking Symposium at St. Paul’s Episcopal, Flint 1/11/2025

JOIN US on JANUARY 11, 2025 for “Why Don’t They Just Walk Away?” – a symposium on Human Trafficking. When we gather as a community, change happens!

The Diversity Committee of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, in partnership with Court Street United Methodist and First Presbyterian Church invite members of the community as well as social workers and therapists, those in medical fields, teachers, school counselors and administrators, ministers and youth leaders, law enforcement or those engaged in criminal justice, hotel management, sectors that engage with youth, and caregivers at shelters, to our symposium that addresses signs and solutions, hope and healing.

This open invitation features nationally renowned speaker JOYCE DIXSON-HASKETT, LMSW, ACSW, SAP and author of L.O.R.T.E.: Levels of Response to Traumatic Events: A Vital Aid to Children of Incarcerated Parents. Be encouraged by the work and heart of Sanctum House, the sanctuary and avenues of healing they provide, by the stories of recovery you hear from the women who’ve lived them, and when Karen Moore, Executive Director of Sanctum House, takes the floor!

Please consider giving a donation to Sanctum House when you order your ticket. It’s your opportunity and mine to show our support for their healing, recovery and restoration.

Parking is available on Saginaw Street, behind St. Paul’s Episcopal, and behind First Presbyterian Church, directly across from St. Paul’s.
