Having a support system is one of the best ways to help a family that has been touched by violent crime.
That’s why I want to extend an invitation to you to the 3rd Annual Genesee County Crime Victims’ Resource Fair.
This annual event gives people the opportunity to meet with local agencies offering resources to victims of crime, as well as their families. The fair will be held on Saturday, March 24 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Flint Farmers’ Market, located at 300 East First Street in downtown Flint.
There will be fun activities for kids, as well as light refreshments. McGruff the Crime Dog and Flint Firebirds Hot Wings will be making appearances as well!
The event is being hosted by Crime Stoppers, YWCA, and The Office of Prosecutor David Leyton. Some of the agencies that will be there for your support include:
- Beauty for Ashes
- Genesee County Health Department
- Genesee County Human Trafficking Task Force
- Hamilton Community Health Network
- M.A.D.D.
- Michigan Faith in Action
- Odyssey House
- Voices Seen Voices Heard
- Weiss Advocacy Center
- WOW Outreach
- Local law enforcement, emergency services, and fire departments
…and more!
This event is free and open to the public. We hope to see you there!
