The 17th Flint Folk Music Festival takes place Saturday, July 23 from Noon to 8:30 p.m. in Flint’s Kearsley Park on Kearsley Park Blvd. just north of Robert T. Longway Blvd. This year’s festival features performances by Mike Vial, The Raising Pickers, Kitty Donohoe, Bill Bynum and Company and Mustard’s Retreat (the trio). The festival also features the Steve Rodgers Jam Tent and sales of performers’ CDs and other merchandise.
Other additions to the festival schedule will be added as they are finalized.
Refreshments can be purchased on site from Flint Trolley Ice Cream and Cafe. Chair seating is available in the pavilion but those attending may want to bring their own for comfort. Those attending may bring their own refreshments. However alcoholic beverages are not allowed by ordinance in city parks
Dogs are not permitted in the pavilion during the festival.
