Get ready to dance!
Our opening dance for the new season with Flint Contra Dancers will be held Sunday afternoon, September 11th with new dancer workshop at 1:30 followed by the dance from 2-5 pm.
We will have the wonderful Steve Gold calling to the rousing music of Homegrown Contraband.
This first dance will take place at Genesys Athletic Club, 801 Health Park Blvd., Grand Blanc, MI 48439. Cost is $10 for adults and $7 for students, with $3 off for first time dancers (There is no charge for club members at this dance.)
Everyone is welcome – contra dancing is one event when it definitely is “the more the merrier”. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing that is not too warm. You are also invited to bring a finger food snack to share.
