Flint Contra Dancing

Hello, everyone–If you have enjoyed dancing with us in Flint, we invite you to come to our last dance of the season.

We will welcome Maeve Devlin as caller with Flint’s own Homegrown Contraband providing the music!!

This dance will take place at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Flint (2474 S. Ballenger Hwy.) on May 1st from 2:00-5:00 pm.  If you are a new dancer or need to brush up on the basics of contra dance, please come at 1:30 for the new dancer workshop.  The dance will follow from 2-5 p.m.  Once again, this promises to be a rousing good time!

You don’t need to bring a partner.  Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for students (with $3 off for first-time dancers).  You are invited to bring a finger-food snack to share.  Do wear comfortable shoes and cooler clothing so you don’t get overheated on the dance floor.

Take advantage of this chance to have some fun exercise with a friendly community!
