As many of you know, in January the City of Flint was awarded a $500,000 Choice Neighborhoods Planning Grant to develop a neighborhood revitalization plan for the south flint area and the Atherton East Public Housing Development.
On Wednesday, March 18, the City will be hosting a Community Meeting to provide more information about the Choice Neighborhoods Planning Initiative. The meeting will take place Wednesday, March 18 from 5:00-6:30 pm at the Brennan Center, 1301 Pingree Ave. Planning staff, as well as representatives from the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development will be in attendance to learn more about the community, residents, and neighborhood groups. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
This meeting is open to the public, and we are encouraging all interested residents and community members to come out to get connected with this exciting new project.
