The City of Flint extends an invitation to attend the Public Hearing scheduled for Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 5:30pm. You may be aware the Public Hearing was originally scheduled for March 8, 2021 as an agenda item of the Flint City Council meeting. On that day, after an extended Special Affairs meeting, the Council was adjourned due to lack of quorum without actually addressing any items. The public hearing was not held.
Please note that our Citizen Participation Plan does not require that this public hearing be a City Council-held public hearing. In order to move this process along and to avoid any further postponements, CED opted to extend the deadline, republish, and hold its own public hearing. The revised notice was published on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, and the new public hearing will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom. Meeting information is below.
