The Charter Review Advisory Committee meeting scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, March 3, 2016 has been cancelled due to the snow emergency.
The next meeting of the Charter Review Advisory Committee will be Thursday, April 7, 2017 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at GRACE Community Christian Fellowship located at 3707 Davison Road (next door to McDonald’s), Flint, MI 48506. The agenda is attached.
Community Meeting to on Ward and Council Representation – April 19th
Please save the date and adjust your calendars. We have moved the Charter Review Commission Community Meeting on Ward Structure to Tuesday, April 19th from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at Asbury United Methodist Church, 1653 Davison Rd, Flint, MI 48503. (See attached flier)
This will be the next large community meeting of the Charter Review Commission and will be about ward structure and city council representation. At that meeting we will be looking to hear how residents would like to have the city council be represented. What structure should city council have and what number of wards and council representatives should be serving Flint residents?
Charter Review Commission – Committee of the Whole Meetings
The Charter Review Commission Committee of the Whole meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 6:30 pm at City Hall. These meetings are where the CRC gets into discussion on the charter and present new proposals for the charter. Please join us at a meeting and give us your thoughts. In March the CRC will be discussing form of government and the input received from the community.
