Blight Cleanup Near New Playgrounds

The city is building six playgrounds this summer and while we have plenty of volunteers for the parks themselves, we need volunteers who can help with blight cleanup at the houses near the parks. Our biggest concern is Sherman Ave. next to Clara Hilborn Park.

I have attached a flier with more information about the playground builds. The blight cleanups will be part of the same events.

If any FNU members are interested please sign up to volunteer at http://www.geneseeserves.org/need/ under “Flint Kids Play.” There should be a section where a note about the individual volunteer can be left. Please write “blight cleanup” in that section.
