  • Managing debt

Group sessions will also include information on how to spot cyber scams and why it is never a bad time to think about long-term goals (like retirement). CFI’s Chief Strategy Officer, Essence Wilson says “This is a unique opportunity for us to create an open, supportive environment and giving people steps they can implement today.  We have embraced a community wealth building focus and we want every resident to thrive”.

During the consultation sessions, financial coaches will help participants identify common mistakes, teach practical skills, and work with people to create a personalized action plan. This action plan will provide participants with a series of next steps and a tailored toolkit of resources that will make them easy to implement. Communities First, Inc. staff and volunteers will follow up after the event to make sure all participants have the resources needed to achieve their financial goals.
