As a reminder, ALPACT meets this Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the North Bank Center in the Park Place Room (University of Michigan-Flint campus).
The focus this month will be on “Building Resilient Communities” – Our communities face many threats, from active shooters to gang activity to violent extremists to online predators. While law enforcement has an important role to play, protecting communities from threats requires community involvement and community solutions other than traditional arrest and prosecution. Barbara McQuade, US Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan will lead the discussion following her presentation.
Also, to ensure we can accommodate everyone, please confirm your attendance by Thursday, January 22, 2015. We look forward to seeing everyone this Friday.
