Curbside Yard Waste Removal to Begin Week of Monday, April 6, 2015 for City of Flint Residents
Flint, Michigan – March 26, 2015 – The City of Flint’s curbside yard waste removal will resume beginning Monday, April 6, 2015. Residents with yard waste are asked to have it set curbside in approved waste cans weighing less than 50 lbs. or in approved brown paper yard waste bags, 10 ft. apart from regular waste, by 7am on their normal garbage day. Branches and twigs no larger than 2 inches in diameter and no longer than 4 feet long must be bundled/tied together and cannot exceed 50 lbs. per bag or bundle. There is a limit of 10 brush bundles per week and no tree trunks or stumps will be accepted curbside.
