Dear Flint Neighborhoods United,
My name is Brad Snyder from the Genesee County Health Department. We are currently contacting major community leaders to inform them of our upcoming Speak To Your Health! Community Survey. The 2015 survey will collect important information about the health status and quality of life of Genesee County residents. Residents are asked about a variety of health issues, including access to health care, neighborhood issues, health status, health behaviors, and more. Information from previous surveys has been used to obtain funding for programs to prevent violence, provide health coverage, reduce sexually transmitted diseases, improve neighborhood conditions and address other community health priorities. It has also been used to inform the City of Flint’s Master Planning Process and the strategic plan of the Genesee County Health Department and other health care organizations. This year, the survey will be made available in paper form or electronically through our website.
My hope is that I can provide your organization with more information regarding the survey and what it can do and has done for the community.
